Element Collective is a new 197-unit workforce housing community located within University Research Park on Madison’s west side. Developed by Mandel Group and managed by ACC Management Group, the six-story community will offer a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes designed to provide comfortable, accessible housing near one of the region’s largest employment centers.
Located along Element Way at the intersection of Mineral Point Road and Whitney Way, Element Collective offers convenient access to Madison’s new east-west Bus Rapid Transit route and is close to major employers, including Exact Sciences, TruStage Insurance Agency, and Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. Residents will also benefit from easy access to the surrounding neighborhoods, businesses, and amenities throughout the west side of Madison.
The community will offer homes for income qualified households earning between 50% and 80% of Dane County’s median household income. Of the 197 residences, 144 will be designated for households earning 60% or less of the county median income, while 53 will be available to households earning up to 80% of the median income.
Residents will enjoy a thoughtfully curated collection of amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, two inviting community rooms, versatile spaces for remote work, and an expansive outdoor rooftop deck designed for relaxing, gathering, and enjoying the outdoors. The community is currently under development, with move-ins anticipated in summer 2027.
