The Make Ready Tech will be part of a maintenance team, assisting with preparing units for rent-ready conditions. You will perform such tasks as painting, cabinet repair, appliance repair or replacement and other general maintenance tasks to quickly and safely get apartment units ready for new residents. You will also assist the maintenance department with more routine work such as grounds work, trash removal, and other general janitorial tasks to maintain excellent curb appeal and smooth operations of the apartment community. Some skills you should have as a Make Ready Tech for Mandel Group:

  • Good customer service skills to interact pleasantly with residents;
  • Entry level knowledge of skilled trades to get you started (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, etc.);
  • Be able to work independently or as a team;
  • Open to working a flexible schedule, including a regular Saturday shift and on-call;
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for on-call purposes and to run errands periodically during the day;
  • HVAC experience is preferred but not required;
  • 1-3 years general maintenance experience preferred;
  • Willingness to receive training.

Starting pay is $20 / hour, based on experience. Included with this package is up to $1,000 in sign on bonuses if candidate selected and starts before 9/30/18 and satisfies waiting periods.
