COMING APRIL 2022! Hackney House Apartments

Mandel Group's multifamily plan for Hackney House Apartments was inspired by the “mews house” concept, designed to leverage the large site acreage by creating intimate courtyards that offer immediate access to the natural environment and encourage pedestrian and resident interaction. The development provides all of the advantages of a suburban site - with ample green space and nearby public parks - but also offers access to walkable community amenities including the YMCA, restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store. The design encourages and promotes an active and vibrant community with buildings positioned in a manner for easy walkability throughout the entire Pabst Farms community.

Location

  • ● Our development is positioned directly south of the Lake Country Trail, a 15.6-mile trail located on the former Milwaukee-Watertown Interurban Railway
  • ● The trail runs through rolling terrain boasting scenic views of the mid-kettle moraine area
  • ● Directly north of our site, the City has invested in developing Chapman Park, a passive public park with walking trails

Highlights

  • ● 302 Market Rate, luxury apartments, 14-18 units per building with attached garages, townhome units contain three living levels over a 2-car attached garage
  • ● A roughly 4,000 square foot standalone clubhouse for use of apartment residents with onsite leasing and maintenance staff. The clubhouse will feature a resident clubroom with a full, gourmet style kitchen and dining room available for resident rental for parties and gatherings. It will also include a resident fitness center overlooking green space or the pool
  • ● An outdoor pool with a Baja lounge shelf and ample deck area will be a welcome retreat in the summer months. An outdoor grill and patio dining area, adjacent to programmed lawn space will also be available to residents. The clubhouse is feature at the front entrance of the site and will be a landmark feature for the development
  • ● Architectural design inspired by modern interpretation of the farmhouse aesthetic and includes use of sustainable materials like white board and batten siding, stone masonry, timber beams, natural wood materials and standing seam metal roofs. Our goal is to inspire an attentive design, representative of the agrarian tradition and history of the site
  • ● Variety of building styles helps to distinguish the look and feel within the development
